Leisure

The operating costs of community leisure centres have over the past few years increased quite dramatically. The rise in costs can mainly be attributed to the rise in energy prices and the introduction of stricter environmental legislation.

In terms of the actual energy consumption the demand tends to come from the following areas:

  • Electricity generation and hot water production for the whole site
  • Providing heat for swimming pools and other leisure equipment with a high heat demand
  • Air conditioning systems used to keep the facility cool

These savings are delivered by a combined heat and power system (CHP). The EuroSite Power On-Site Utility™ Solution is delivered with zero capital expenditure required from the on-site owners and delivers instant cash savings.
